How to Earn From Entertainment Apps, Start to Payout

Read the milestone text twice, and read it for units. Entertainment offers are worded in minutes, hours, sessions, days or chapters, and those four words describe wildly different commitments. Three hundred minutes is one long Saturday. Watching on seven separate days is a fortnight of remembering, which is harder even though the total viewing is smaller.
Then check whether the offer wants a new account. Streaming services in particular are paying to acquire a subscriber, so an offer will nearly always require a fresh registration and will not credit an account you set up years ago. If you already have a Paramount+ or ZEE5 login, that offer is not for you, and no amount of reinstalling will change it.
Last, decide whether you are willing to enter payment details. If the offer includes a free trial, you will be asked for a card even though nothing is charged that day. There is no version of a trial offer that skips this step, so if the answer is no, pick a registration-only offer now rather than discovering it halfway through.
Attribution is the plumbing that connects your install to your reward, and it is fragile. The tap on the offer card sets a marker; the install has to follow that marker without anything in between confusing it.
The step people skip is the first one. A leftover install from a trial you took two years ago will read as a returning user, and returning users do not trigger acquisition rewards. Clearing it out takes thirty seconds and removes the single most common reason these offers fail silently.
Watch time and listen time are counted by the app, reported onward, and only then matched to your offer. Two practical consequences follow. Playback has to actually happen in the foreground for it to count, and the total you see on the offer card will lag behind reality by some hours.
Offline downloads are the classic trap. Downloading a series and watching it on a train feels like the same activity, but many services record only what streamed, so a whole afternoon of viewing can register as nothing at all. If you cannot confirm how your offer handles it, watch online until you have seen the counter move, then experiment.
For streak-shaped offers, the failure mode is different. Missing a day usually resets the count rather than pausing it, so a seven-day requirement that you break on day five costs you five days. Set an alarm for a fixed time each evening and treat it as non-negotiable until it is done.
Once the milestone registers, the reward moves through a hold period before it becomes withdrawable. That gap exists so the advertiser can confirm the activity was genuine, and in this category it is often longer than in games, because subscription offers are only truly complete once the retention window has passed.
Do not cancel during that window. The milestone showing green is not the same as the reward clearing, and an early cancellation is the most common way people lose a payout they had already earned. Once the money is in your balance, cancel whenever you like.
If nothing has moved after the stated hold, keep the evidence together in one place before you raise anything. A ticket with the right details attached is usually settled in a single reply, and it is far easier to gather at the time than a fortnight later.
That combination covers every question support is likely to ask, and it resolves the great majority of tracking disputes without further back and forth.
