How to Earn From Food and Drink Apps, Step by Step

The work in this category happens before anything is installed. Open the offer terms and find four numbers: the minimum order value, the deadline for placing that order, whether the app is available where you live, and whether the reward requires one order or several. If any of those is missing from the card, treat the offer as riskier than it looks.
Then check the eligibility line, which almost always says new customers only. If you have ordered from that platform before, even years ago on a different phone, the account is likely to be recognised and the offer will not credit. Creating a second account to get around this is against the terms of both the app and the reward, and it is the most reliable way to lose a payout you had already earned.
Attribution is what connects your order to your reward, and it is fragile. Tap through from the offer itself, let the store page open on its own, and install from that page without wandering off to search for the app by name. If the app was on this phone before, uninstall it and clear its data first, because a reinstall of a previously registered app frequently reads as an existing user.
Build the basket to the minimum with room to spare, because the number that counts is usually the food subtotal rather than the total you pay. Discounts complicate this further. A promo code applied inside the app can pull the subtotal back under the threshold even though your card was charged more, and that alone accounts for a large share of offers that never credit.
Pay with a normal card or wallet inside the app rather than cash on delivery where that choice exists, since an unconfirmed payment leaves the order in a state the merchant may not report as complete. Then let the order run its course. Cancelling it, refusing it at the door, or requesting a refund afterwards will normally void the reward, because the merchant reverses the conversion when it reverses the money.
If the offer is on a reservation platform, the qualifying event is a seated booking and not the reservation itself. Turn up, and do not amend the booking through a phone call to the restaurant, because a change made outside the app can detach it from the record the platform is reporting on.
Rewards in this category rarely appear the moment the food arrives. Merchants hold conversions through their own refund and dispute window, which is commonly a couple of weeks, precisely so that a cancelled order does not turn into a paid reward. Seeing nothing on day two is normal and not a sign that something has gone wrong.
Keep the order confirmation, the receipt, and the date and time of the order until the reward lands. If the deadline stated on the offer passes with nothing credited, that record is what support will ask for, and it is far easier to keep it than to reconstruct it. Do not delete the app while a claim is open.
