How to Earn Real Money From Action Games, Step by Step

Written by
Pat Avery

Before you install

The mechanics of an action offer are simple enough, but the order matters and one wrong step at the start voids everything after it. Before you touch anything, open the offer card and read the milestone list end to end. Action offers carry more tiers than most, and the later ones are usually where the bulk of the money sits.

Then ask the harder question, which is whether you can realistically clear the top tier. A tier stated as an arena rank or a survived wave is a skill gate, and skill gates do not care how many days you have left on the clock. If the top tier looks beyond you, either choose a different offer or decide in advance that you are going for the first two and nothing more.

The install that counts

Install through the TryRewards link every time, on the device you intend to play on. The link is what attaches your account to that install; a game you already had, or one you fetched from the store in a separate tab, will not track no matter how far you get in it. This is not a technicality that gets waived later.

If you have played the title before on the same phone or store account, treat that as something to sort out before you begin rather than after. Most offers require a genuinely new player, and leftover save data from an old install is the single most common reason a milestone completes and nothing arrives.

  1. Open the offer on TryRewards and read every tier, not just the headline one.
  2. Remove any previous copy of the game and clear the local save it left behind.
  3. Tap through the offer link and install from the store page it opens for you.
  4. Play the first session through to the end of the tutorial before you close the app.

Playing to the milestone

Action tutorials are generous and fast, and it is tempting to tap through them. Do not. They hand out the starter gear, the first character unlock and often a slice of premium currency, and in a survivor or hero-collector title that early gear is exactly what carries you through the first real difficulty wall.

After that, progress is a question of attempts rather than hours, so build your play around attempts. Short focused sessions beat long tired ones here, because what fails a run is nearly always a lapse in attention rather than a shortage of time. I get further in three twenty-minute blocks than in one long evening, and the offer clock does not mind which you choose.

Check your progress against the milestone wording every day or two. If the offer names stage thirty in the campaign and you have been clearing event stages instead, you have earned nothing towards it. Modes that look equivalent from inside the game are frequently not equivalent in the terms, and nobody tells you until the reward fails to appear.

  • Match the mode name in the offer to the mode name in the game, word for word.
  • Spend starter currency on progression, never on cosmetics.
  • Keep the game installed until the reward posts, even once the milestone is done.
  • Play on a charged phone — low-power mode throttles frame rates and costs you runs.

Getting paid

Rewards post once the game's own servers confirm the milestone, which is not instant. A day or two of lag is normal, and it runs longer for milestones deep in a campaign where the check happens on a schedule rather than in real time. Deleting the app inside that window is the quickest way to lose a reward you have already earned.

If the milestone is plainly done and nothing has posted after a few days, raise it with support rather than starting again. Have the install date, the milestone you cleared and a screenshot of the in-game progress screen ready. That is usually enough to resolve it, and a second install almost never helps anyone.
