How to Earn From Puzzle Games: A Complete Walkthrough

Written by

How the offer works

A puzzle offer is a contract with three parts: an install, a set of milestones, and a window. The advertiser pays when your device reaches a milestone inside the window, and TryRewards passes a share of that to your balance. Nothing about it is subjective — either the milestone event fired against your install, or it did not.

That framing is worth holding on to, because almost every problem people hit is an attribution problem dressed up as something else. If the chain from offer link to install to milestone stays unbroken, you get paid.

Step by step

  1. Open TryRewards and find the puzzle offer you want. Read the milestone list before anything else.
  2. Uninstall the game first if you have played it before — previously installed titles almost never qualify.
  3. Tap the offer's install button inside TryRewards. Do not search the store yourself.
  4. Let the store page open through that link, then install and open the game from there.
  5. Play the first session to completion without switching apps, so the first tracking event fires cleanly.
  6. Check your TryRewards activity feed after the first milestone to confirm tracking attached.

Step two is the one people skip. A reinstall of a game you played two years ago carries an old advertising identifier, and most campaigns filter those out as existing users. If you genuinely want the offer, uninstall, then check the offer terms for whether a reinstall is eligible at all.

Pacing the milestones

Once tracking is confirmed, the rest is scheduling. Most puzzle ladders have an early milestone inside the first hour, a mid milestone somewhere around a weekend of casual play, and a long milestone that takes a few weeks. Aim at the mid milestone first and decide about the long one after you see how the difficulty ramps.

Getting credited

Credit is not always instant. Some advertisers batch their postbacks, so a milestone you hit at midnight may show up the following afternoon. Give it a full day before you treat it as missing.

  • Keep the game installed until the reward clears — uninstalling early can void a pending milestone.
  • Stay on the same device and the same TryRewards account throughout.
  • Do not use a VPN while playing an offer; a mismatched region is a common rejection reason.
  • Screenshot the in-game screen that proves the milestone, with the level or score visible.

If it does not track

First, confirm the milestone actually matches the wording. Offers say things like "reach level 40" but mean the level counter on the main map, not the sub-stage number inside an event. Reading the requirement literally solves a surprising share of cases.

If the milestone is genuinely met and a full day has passed, open a support ticket with your screenshots, the offer name, and the date and time you completed it. That is everything the advertiser needs to look the event up on their side.
